Auryn to Acquire Eastmain Resources and Spin Out Peruvian Assets

VANCOUVER, British Columbia & TORONTO -- Auryn Resources Inc. (TSX: AUG, NYSE American: AUG) (“Auryn”) and Eastmain Resources Inc. (TSX: ER) (“Eastmain”) are pleased to announce that they have entered into a definitive agreement (the “Agreement”) pursuant to which Auryn will acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of Eastmain, immediately following a spin out of Auryn’s Peruvian projects to Auryn shareholders and completion of a concurrent financing (collectively, the “Transaction”).
